Lemanczyk. Catalogue of works

An album devoted to the presentation of the work of Kazimierz Lemańczyk, a well-known and highly regarded contemporary Pomeranian artist, published on the occasion of his retrospective exhibition of paintings and graphics at the museum's Kurzeja Stopa Gallery in Chojnice, together with a benefit concert summarising 35 years of his work (December 2010-February 2011). K. Lemanczyk received his diploma in the graphics studio of Professor Edmund Piotrowicz at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in 1978. He has had more than 30 solo exhibitions and has taken part in many significant exhibitions of Polish art in Poland and abroad, including France and Germany. The album, edited by the artist, with an author's commentary and edited by his daughter, Martyna M. Lemanczyk, with a discussion by Barbara Zagórska, illustrates the interesting artistic and intellectual personality of the graphic artist, painter, draughtsman, and also designer and photographer. Published through the efforts of the museum and the Society of Friends of the H-E Museum in Chojnice, the catalogue is accompanied by notes on the work in English, German and French.
