The museum in Chojnice gathers a wide collection of antiquities and art

The Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice collects collections in 4 basic departments: archaeological, historical, ethnographic, art and scientific and educational with a library.

For several years, the museum has been conducting research in acquiring the collection and restoring the unique hunting collection, scattered after the war, owned by the Lukowicz family, distinguished for Chojnice and well-known in Pomerania, especially the esteemed surgeon Dr. John Paul Lukowicz. In addition, the museum is systematically supplementing the collection related to the cradle of Polish inland sailing in Charzyki near Chojnice to open a permanent exhibition in the future.
