Baszta nr 11

Baszta nr 11 documents the activities of the Chojnice museum in 2009-2010, highlighting the completion of a project to discover the unknown legacy of museum founder Julian Rydzkowski, scattered in Pomeranian public and private collections. A conference devoted to this was held in 2009 together with the exhibition Julian Rydzkowski (1891-1978). Custodian in the Tower. Among the exhibition realisations, two international ones stood out: Winged Elements - an exhibition of the work of Maria Jasnoch-Wiatrowska, a Polish woman living in exile in the USA, and an inter-museum partnership project, based on regional research, titled "The world. Rustling, noise, and music were carried out in cooperation with the Museum of Everyday Life and the Old Synagogue in Hagenow (Mecklenburg). In addition, the issue extensively describes other exhibitions, conservation and educational activities with a wide range of museum classes and workshops.
